Pallet prep1{Ed. NOTE:  As of 11March2014, we are not accepting medical volunteers to go to the Philippines. This story was first published in the height of our Typhoon Relief Operations in November 2013}

As part of a large relief effort Heart to Heart International (HHI) will soon be shipping tons of aid and supplies to the Philippines to help the victims of Typhoon Haiyan/Yolanda.  The photo above is just one of more than 100 pallets of aid and supplies that will soon ship (look for more on this large relief aid airlift soon).

MEDICAL VOLUNTEERS WANTED

  • We are also deploying medical volunteers to work on the ground in some of the hardest hit areas of the central Philippines.  This is not easy work.  Rough, but rewarding.
  • If you’re interested in volunteering as a medical professional in the Philippines – Read this document FIRST to know more about volunteer opportunities in the Philippines.
  • After reading the document above – please fill out our Medical Volunteer Form.

An HHI Advance Team is in transit and will arrive soon to begin the difficult process of establishing a base of operations and a ‘home’ for medical volunteers to work out of.  Conditions are understandably harsh.  Fortunately we have partner organizations in the Philippines that are assisting us in making this happen.

Time remains of the essence in the Philippines.
